Why is the sky blue

 When sunlight enters to the atmosphere of earth, they get scattered in the dust particles and gases. We know that the particles are able to scatter light of shorter wavelength of blue much more than colors of other wavelengths like red. 


 

 Hence the scattered light of of blue color so the sky looks blue.
